MATTHEW DIBUONO
PRINCIPAL
Matthew DiBuono brings over 18 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, starting his career in 2007 as a union carpenter. His deep understanding of the building process laid the foundation for his transition into a leadership role as a site superintendent, where he managed all field operations with precision and accountability.
Matt is personally invested in the success of every project. His commitment to quality, safety, and collaboration reflects the core values that define Goodman’s approach.
Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Labor & Employment Relations and a Graduate Certificate in Labor Studies from Rutgers University — an academic foundation that complements his field expertise and leadership style.
With a passion for building both structures and strong partnerships, Matt continues to lead by example, ensuring every Goodman project meets the highest standards of performance and integrity.
ROBERT COYNE
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Robert Coyne brings deep expertise and visionary leadership to his role as Chief Operating Officer at Goodman Construction Company. Since beginning his career in 1993, Robert has led complex, high-profile projects across multiple sectors, including infrastructure, commercial interiors, retail, and industrial developments throughout the NY/NJ region.
Before joining Goodman, Robert served as Executive in Charge for numerous landmark projects — from JFK Redevelopment, JFK AirTrain to the World Trade Center Redevelopment — overseeing all aspects of preconstruction, procurement, and construction execution. His ability to lead diverse teams and drive results across project phases has earned him a reputation for both strategic insight and operational excellence.
At Goodman, Robert oversees day-to-day operations with a focus on collaboration, efficiency, and quality. His leadership ensures that every project reflects the company’s core values of integrity, partnership, and performance.
Robert holds degrees from Syracuse University and New York University’s Construction Management Program, blending academic rigor with decades of practical experience.

With over 25 years of experience in industrial and commercial construction, Robert Costello is a true builder’s builder. Rising through the ranks as a union carpenter, Rob developed an expert-level understanding of the materials, methods, and precision it takes to bring complex projects to life — on time and with uncompromising quality.
His transition from hands-on craftsmanship to executive leadership is a reflection of both his deep technical expertise and his ability to lead teams with clarity and confidence. Rob combines a respect for traditional building practices with a forward-thinking approach that embraces innovation and efficiency.
As Vice President and General Superintendent at Goodman Construction Company, Rob plays a vital role in ensuring every project is executed with the highest standards of safety, quality, and coordination. His on-the-ground experience and leadership mindset make him an invaluable asset to clients, crews, and the company as a whole.
